Six of one, half a dozen beers of the other.

So, here's the scenario. I am watching an auction on eBay AND I have to go to the bar around the same time it ends. I was hoping to be done and home by the end, make my bid, and win. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. So, I have to wonder, which vice is more important? Normally I would say clothes, obviously, but sometimes the liquor gets my vision clouded. I was supposed to drop off some wrapping paper to a friend who was working tonight, then have ONE drink ( I know, stop laughing) and then head home and catch the auction. But, in my defense, friends showed up. I am kinda upset, but I have to really take a step back and look at the bigger picture. If I layed it all out on paper, you would judge, and that's my job on this site. Let's just say that I had a few tasty cocktails tonight, and that might be for the best. Otherwise, I would have added a fifth pair of bowling shoes. Don't judge.

P.S. I know a few of you tried to catch me tonight with jeans....try again suckers! I have been true to my promise.

  1. 1. What did you miss out on, and did the winner win by more than you'd pay (plus maybe, $20, because of the bidding range)
    2. You don't need more bowling shoes. Please reference a link to your prior post.
    3. Me and others counted on you wearing jeans. You upped our bar tab. Shame on us, I guess...

  2. 1. Bowling shoes, black leather. They ended up going for much less than what I woudl have paid.
    2. Need? no....want, possibly.
    3. you gambled and loss. booyah.
